A CEO and Founder today, Jean has been leading organizations since she was elected Girl Scout patrol leader at the age of 10.
Jean has spent decades developing the traits, learning the skills, and practicing the art of leadership across several industries, up and down the corporate ladder, and in multiple profit and nonprofit organizations.
A courageous and charismatic leader, consistent influencer, and innovative socialpreneur, Jean Krisle founded, funded, and continues to lead 10,000 Beds, a 501c3 nonprofit organization now in its 7th year of operation.
Starting with the thought of helping those who could not help themselves, Jean's achievement of creating the only nationwide 501c3 awarding nearly $20,000,000 in DONATED scholarships for addiction treatment from vetted treatment programs across the country is nothing short of a miracle.
Building from a desire to support the many individuals without resources seeking help for a substance use disorder, Jean built 10,000 Beds from a simple idea to a nationwide, life-changing and inspirational force in the addiction & recovery community.
As a seasoned speaker, author, recovery coach, nonprofit and business consultant, Jean speaks from personal and shared experiences on the critical strengths of courage, hope, and resilience in business and personal lives.
As a former Vice President of Communications for an international organization based in Washington DC and a master connector of for-profit corporations and non-profit organizations, Jean brings an insider's view of corporate America as well as lifetime of experience in the not-for-profit sector.
Jean’s message goes beyond corporate and organizational challenges and top tier leadership, she gets personal and shares stories of failure and success from her decades in the workplace - stories that resonate with individuals, teams, managers, and CEOs. She understands the importance of self-worth and provides insight to improve a person’s sense of value in the workplace.
Jean's example has influenced and inspired literally thousands of individuals to face each day with grace, gratitude, and grit. She inspires all of us to recognize the strengths we’ve gained through the challenges we’ve faced and to celebrate our flaws with our strengths.
Jean passionately reminds us that we are all in recovery from something and that recovery from anything- loss, failure, heartbreak, disappointment, grief, unemployment, addiction, etc. - is something we should build on and be proud of! It's also a reality in the workplace requiring sensitivity and empathy, along with appropriate practices and procedures.
Jean is happily married to her partner and sweetheart, Hal Krisle. Together they share 11 children, 33 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Jean and Hal currently reside in Cedar City, UT.
Jean has been speaking to groups, organizations, corporations, associations, and audiences of all sizes since her junior high days, but beginning in 2000, she has been speaking professionally to thousands of individuals at various events and gatherings across the nation as well as internationally.
Jean is also a longstanding member of the National Speakers Association.
